"I firmly believe that your dedication and selfless service to the World Taekwondo Federation will help our organization to grow to befit the international standards and to propagate the Olympic movement," WTF President Choue said in his appointment letter to Mr. Pimol. "Therefore, I wish to appoint you as a WTF Council member by the authority vested in the president under Article 6.6 of the Statutes of the World Taekwondo Federation."

In his acceptance letter, Mr. Pimol said, " I feel privileged. I accept your appointment wholeheartedly and promise to do my utmost as a Council member for the benefit of the World Taekwondo Federation."

Mr. Pimol will serve as a new WTF Council member until the end of the WTF's next General Assembly in May 2013 in Puebla, Mexico.
