It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Former World Taekwondo Council Member and Swiss Taekwondo Honorary President, Grand Master René Bundeli.

Grand Master Bundeli was a pioneer in introducing Taekwondo to Switzerland, founding Swiss Taekwondo, and served as its president for over two decades. He was the sole holder of the 9th Dan Kukkiwon in Switzerland and held prominent positions such as Chairman of the Games Committee at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, and Chairman of the Referee Committee of World Taekwondo. Grand Master René Bundeli passionately taught and promoted Taekwondo in various places around the world.
