World Taekwondo Council Member and Niger NOC President, Issaka Ide was presented with an Association of National Olympic Committees Merit Award during the organization’s General Assembly in Doha, Qatar on October 17, 2019.

According to ANOC, the award, which dates back to 1983, was created to recognize persons who have in an exceptional way furthered or contributed to the work of the association.
