ROME, Italy (Jun 8, 2023) – The World Taekwondo and Italian Demonstration Teams captivated audiences today with an unforgettable performance at the bustling Piazza di Spagna ahead of the Roma 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix.
With awe-inspiring acrobatics, gravity-defying moves and breath-taking skills, the World Taekwondo and Italian Demonstration Teams delivered an incredible performance that left thousands of spectators mesmerised.
This remarkable event marked the third time the world-famous World Taekwondo Demonstration Team has graced the historic site, following their inspiring performances in 2019 and 2022 that kicked off previous editions of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Rome.
Among those watching the extraordinary action unfold were World Taekwondo Council Member and Italian Taekwondo Federation President Angelo Cito, and Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF) and Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) President Raffaele Chiulli.
The Foro Italico Arena will tomorrow welcome recently crowned World Champions, alongside Tokyo 2020 medallists and Olympians, as incredible Roma 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix action gets underway from 9-12 June.
